Other variants
C++ is a superset of C with a focus on object orientated programming. It was originally released in 1985 by Bjarne Stroustrup.
The Objective-C language is also object-orientated but was developed seperately from C++ and has its own distict syntax. It was originally released in 1984 by Tom Love and Brad Cox
